Hickling W. I. ‘Bargain Hunt’ Style Charity Auction Fundraiser

In December, members of Hickling Womens Institute took part in a ‘Bargain Hunt’ style fund raising event to raise funds for the Nottinghamshire Blood Bike charity. All members participated by working in small groups who were given a budget to seek out and buy items to be sold for a profit at auction. Several items were also donated for the sale.
Many thanks to Shoulers County Auction Rooms of County Chambers, Kings Road, Melton Mowbray, for their help and support in enabling the W.I. to achieve their target of making £1.000 for the Blood Bikes.
A cheque was presented to representatives on the 18th of January.
